I'll record the voice for your audiovisual content, in International English (i.e. English with an accent that doesn't remind of a specific region).
Each job is unique, so if you like my voice feel free to request a quote. To be able to reply with an accurate estimate, I'll need to know:
For me to be able to record and deliver your project as quickly as possible, make sure you're sending me the following elements:
- All the scripts to be recorded
- Instructions regarding the tone you're looking for (by describing it, referring to my demos, linking to other content to use as reference, etc.) - if unsure, let me know you'd like several takes with various tones.
- Pronunciation guide for foreign words, names (of products, people, companies...), etc.
Yes I do, for instance in case of a script with multiple usage (for instance TV + radio + online), or when multiple scripts with the same usage are ordered simultaneously (for instance 3 corporate videos for a company's website). Also longer scripts are proportionally cheaper than shorter ones. Simply request a quote and detail every script you need recorded and their usage, and I'll make a package offer for it all.
Yes. In general simple sync (such as ensuring my voice falls within given time codes) is included in my fee, while more complex sync (ensuring my voice begins AND ends on given time codes, lip sync to on-screen characters, etc.) incurs an additional cost. Simply request a quote and mention how you'd like the voice to be synced to picture.
No, I'm not, which is why I offer "International English" - meaning I speak English with an accent that can't be connected to any given country. If you want a typical American, British, Canadian accent, better work with native speakers. But if you want your content to be appealing to a wider audience and/or showcase some diversity, then International English is what you need.
I deliver raw files - meaning I clean up my mistakes, remove unnatural breaths, disturbing clicks, silences and so on so that the file is ready to be mixed and mastered. I usually deliver in 16 bits, 48KHz, wav format so as to offer optimal quality, but I can adapt to you requirements.
Mistakes I make (mispronunciation, missed words, etc.) are always fixed free of charge. Changes made to the script post recording are free up to 3 sentences or 25% of the script (whichever is the lowest). Beyond that I'll charge a fee proportional to the extent of the changes. Changes to the tone of voice/direction incur additional cost (usually 50% of the original fee since the entire recording needs to be remade). However I can record alternative versions of short scripts for free if asked to do so when placing the order.
